2023 “Remedios Caro Almela” Prize for Research in Developmental Neurobiology

Scope and eligibility

• The RCA-Prize aims to reward European researchers in a highly productive period of their career, with important contributions to the area of Developmental Neurobiology.
• Candidates must be nominated by public or private institutions, fellow scientists or by themselves.
• The Prize is awarded every two years and includes an unrestricted award of 25,000 € that may exceptionally be shared by a maximum of two researchers.
• The prize winner is required to give the "RCA-Lecture" during the Award Ceremony, which will take place at the Institute of Neurosciences (Alicante, Spain) in October 2023
• Expenses to attend the event will be covered by the Remedios Caro Almela-Chair

Guidelines

• Applications must be written in English and include:
1/ A cover letter explaining the merits of the candidate.
2/ A list of up to five selected publications.
3/ The curriculum vitae of the candidate.

• The documents should be e-mailed to: prizerca@umh.es before June 30th 2023.
• The name of the 2023 RCA-laureate will be announced by the end of July 2023.

Evaluation Committee

The winner will be selected by a committee composed of the rector of the Miguel Hernandez University, the Director of the Institute for Neurosciences and a panel of four renowned researchers.
