Introduction to Genomic Analysis in Neuroscience
Course Overview
This course will focus on analyzing genomic data in neuroscience. It will also highlight the application of genomic analyses and single-cell technologies. Lectures and interactive sessions will cover bioinformatics concepts, while hands-on sessions will guide participants in applying statistical methods to genomic data analysis.
This course will cover following topics:
- RNA-seq
- ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq
- Single-cell RNA-seq
- Single-cell transcriptome and chromatin accessibility
- Spatial transcriptomics
The course is suitable for PhD students interested in utilizing high throughput sequencing and single-cell technologies in neuroscience research, with prerequisites including familiarity with HTS technology, basic R/Bioconductor skills, and Unix/Linux operating system experience. If you lack familiarity with these, then please complete the specified free tutorials before attending the course.
