Remedios Caro Almela Prize for Research in Developmental Neurobiology 2021

Scope The Remedios Caro Almela Award aims to reward the work of European researchers with important contributions to the area of Developmental Neurobiology who are in a highly productive period of their career. Eligibility The Remedios Caro AlmelaPrize is open to active scientists leading a research line focused on Developmental Neurobiology and currently working in a European institution. Candidates must be nominated by public or private institutions, by fellow scientists or by themselves. The Prize is given on biennial basis and includes an unrestricted award of 20,000 € that could exceptionally be shared by a maximum of two persons. The prize winner is required to give the "Caro Almela Lecture" during the Award Ceremony that will take place at the Institute of Neurosciences (Alicante, Spain) in October 2021. Expenses to attend the event will be covered by the Remedios Caro Almela Chair. Applications Candidates may be nominated by public or private institutions, by fellow scientists or by themselves. Applications (in English) must include: 1/ A coverletter explaining the merits of the candidate. 2/ A list of up to five selected publications. 3/ The curriculum vitae of the candidate.
