Óscar Marín Obtains one of the prestigious Advanced Grants funded by the European Research Council

The Project " Cortical assembly-excitatory and inhibitory cell assemblies in the cerebral cortex" of the researcher Óscar Marín from the Neuroscience Institute, CSIC-UMH, has obtained one of the Advanced Grants yearly funded by the European Research Council. The research work in the Neuroscience field leaded by Óscar Marín, has been selected with other 293 projects in all Europe among the 2.284 received in this edition. ERC Advanced Grants allow exceptional established research leaders of any nationality and any age to pursue ground-breaking, high-risk projects that open new directions in their respective research fields or other domains. Óscar Marín, CSIC Research Proffessor in the Neuroscience Institute has recently been awarded, among others, with the Price Jaime I in Fundamental Research 2011
