The iN.Pulse Innovation Unit of the Institute of Neurosciences (IN), established in 2018, aims to act as the knowledge transfer office for the research generated at the IN, facilitating its transfer to the productive and economic environment.

iN.Pulse was funded through nominative grants from the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) until 2021 and has subsequently been selected for funding under the competitive Scientific Units for Business Innovation (UCIE) call of the AVI in 2022 and 2024.

Since the establishment of the IN.Pulse Innovation Unit, IN researchers have created 2 technology-based spin-off companies and registered 8 patents and 5 utility models. In addition, IN.Pulse has obtained funding through multiple national and international competitive innovation calls and has carried out joint actions with the healthcare research foundations FISABIO and ISABIAL to promote new translational research projects connecting IN researchers and clinical professionals.
